Innocent. Familiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But what happens when Dick and Jane start looking a little closer at the world they&#8217;ve been given?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s where <strong>\u201cDick and Jane\u201d<\/strong> comes in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The newest release from <strong>Dizzy O\u2019Brian and Dizzy and the Dreamers<\/strong> takes the familiar kindergarten primer and gives it a decidedly more mischievous\u2014and slightly punk-rock\u2014turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s playful. It&#8217;s irreverent. And underneath all that, it&#8217;s asking some rather uncomfortable questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is society?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is reality?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is the universe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And who gets to decide what any of those things are supposed to look like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Different Side of Dizzy Rock<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDick and Jane\u201d is also part of something I&#8217;ve been enjoying more and more with <strong>Dizzy Rock<\/strong>\u2014letting the music get a little rough around the edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dizzyverse has plenty of mythology, surrealism, strange characters, philosophical questions, and things that shouldn&#8217;t logically be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But it doesn&#8217;t always have to be airy-fairy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes you just need to plug in the guitar, turn up the volume, and let Dick and Jane loose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This slightly punk\/rock approach fits surprisingly well alongside the other sides of Dizzy Rock. The styles may be different, but the underlying idea is the same:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tell a story.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make it interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And, if possible, make it smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">See Dick.
